Don and Elizabeth love to travel. Don is a private pilot and Elizabeth is an Executive Recruiter. Together they have traveled extensively and understand the importance of a comfortable bed, privacy, and great amenities while you are away from home. They pride themselves on quality and comfort and hope to provide a memorable experience for each and every guest who stays in Oak Hall. They both appreciate historic architecture more than anything and when they discovered Vicksburg and this home, it was love at first site! After spending a few years restoring the home, they knew they had to share it with others.
Driving Directions
Oak Hall is conveniently located close to downtown, I-20, and the Vicksburg National Military Park, but is set in a quiet, residential neighborhood.
From I-20 East or Jackson Airport
- Go West on I-20 towards Vicksburg
- Exit 1C – Halls Ferry Road Exit
- Turn Right onto Halls Ferry Road
- Turn Left onto Speed Street
- Turn Left onto Drummond Street
- 2430 Drummond will be on your Rt
- If you get to Bowmar, you have gone too far
- Onsite Parking and Checkin Instructions are provided to each guest upon booking
From I-20 West or Monroe, Louisiana
- Go East on I-20 towards Vicksburg
- Once you cross the MS River you are close!
- Exit 1c – Halls Ferry Road
- Turn Left onto Halls Ferry Road
- Turn Left onto Speed Street
- Turn Left onto Drummond Street
- 2430 Drummond will be on your Rt.
- If you get to Bowmar, you have gone too far
- Onsite Parking and Checkin instructions are provided to guests upon booking
Check-in & Checkout
For our guests’ convenience, we offer either a keyless check-in process or a personal check-in greeted by one of our hosts. You will be contacted prior to arrival inquiring about your preference regarding checking in for your stay.
Cancellation Policy
Because we are a small boutique property, we do not typically accept same-day reservations or last-minute cancellations after a room has been blocked for an extended period of time. Depending on your date of booking, our cancellation policy could provide a 50% refund or none at all. Of course, special and extenuating circumstances allow for exceptions, and we will honor those with a full refund.
House Rules
To help us continue to protect and preserve our historic home for future generations, we do request that our guests assist us by not wearing high heels on the wood floors, by carrying instead of rolling their bags on the floors (we will help if you ask us to!), and by alerting us of any stains or damages to walls or floors that need addressing.
