Policies when staying at Oak Hall Bed & Breakfast
Check-in & Checkout
For our guests’ convenience, we offer either a keyless check-in process or a personal check-in greeted by one of our hosts. You will be contacted prior to arrival inquiring about your preference regarding checking in for your stay.
Check-in – We look forward to your arrival anytime after 3 PM on your check-in day. We will email you with check-in instructions on or before your arrival day.
Check-out – 11 AM on the date of departure. Late check-outs might be available from time to time, just ask us and we’ll try and accommodate your request.
Cancellation Policy
Because we are a small boutique property, we do not typically accept same-day reservations or last-minute cancellations after a room has been blocked for an extended period of time. Depending on your date of booking, our cancellation policy could provide a 50% refund or none at all. Of course, special and extenuating circumstances allow for exceptions, and we will honor those with a full refund.
Every reservation we receive is important and special to us. We take great care in preparing for your arrival – from room preparation, to planning meals, to helping you plan excursions. We sincerely appreciate each reservation we receive! It means we’ve committed to blocking your room and having your room ready and available upon your arrival.
While we understand that life isn’t always predictable and that plans change, we do request that you contact us no less than 7 (seven) days prior to your check-in date to let us know of your changes. At that time, your deposit will be refunded, less a $20 cancellation fee.
Any reservation updates and/or cancellations received less than 7 (seven) days prior to your check-in date will result in the loss of your deposit.
Reservations for three or more rooms and whole-house bookings have a 30-day cancellation policy, and a 50% non-refundable deposit taken at the time you make your reservation.
House Rules
To help us continue to protect and preserve our historic home for future generations, we do request that our guests assist us by not wearing high heels on the wood floors, by carrying instead of rolling their bags on the floors (we will help if you ask us to!), and by alerting us of any stains or damages to walls or floors that need addressing. Thank you in advance!
Reservation & House Policies
To receive our Best Available Rate at any time of year, we recommend booking directly with us via our website or phone. While oftentimes we require 2-night minimum stays during the “peak season” of March-July and September – November, or during local special events, and major holidays, we’ll occasionally make exceptions. Call us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your travel schedule!
Whole House Rentals, as well as Corporate/Business Travel rates and discounts, are available. Please call us at (601) 768-8013 to discuss arrangements and reserve your stay.
